I wasn't tagged by anyone but saw this and thought it would be fun to do.

 How many blushes do you own?
And the grand total is... 24! But who cares... no big deal, I want mooore....

What is your favourite blush brush?
This Quo one... it's very densely packed. For cream blush, I just use my fingers!

Cream or powder?
Cream!

Peach vs Pink and favourites of each?
Pink!

My favourite pink blush is The Body Shop All-in-One cheek colour in Bubblegum, and my favourite peach blush is Joe Fresh Mousse Blush in Melon. I don't really like peach blush, though.
And my favourite peachy-pink is, duh...
NARS Orgasm!

Drugstore vs High End and favourites of each?
I'm going to have to say high end! I find they're not as hit-and-miss as drugstore blushes.
 
My favourites, of course, are my beloved purple- MAKE UP FOR EVER Flash Colour in 17 and TheBalm's Cabana Boy.

Most overrated?
If I had to pick one...
MAC Blush in Cubic. It's a perfectly nice 'mature' soft blush, but it just doesn't stand the test of time for me (in terms of owning it, it holds onto grease a lot, and in terms of wear time). I'll still purchase more MAC blushes in the future, though.

Most underrated?
essence limited edition releases! Here I have the blushes from dark romance, bloom me up and beauty beats collections. They're all varied in finish and colour, crazy pigmented and top-notch quality. It's hard to believe this all comes from a 1-5 dollar brand!

Worth the hype?
I'd really have to say NARS powder blushes. They're hard to beat, but don't hold the same spot in my heart that my underdog essence does.

Ooh boy... so many. SO MANY. I'm a total fiend when it comes to blush. In order of want-y-ness...
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in all of the colours.

Anna Sui Cheek Colour in 100- a blue purple. It fits my ethereal fairy aesthetic to a T.


Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush. I know it's overpriced, but... IT'S SHAPED LIKE A HEART!

Review: Maybelline Brow Drama Pomade Crayon

Hey guys, long time no post! I'm here today to review the new Maybelline Brow Drama Pomade Crayon. This is an interesting product for sure- one of the many new and exciting things Maybelline has put out for us this spring. The crayon is a short, chubby pencil that is supposed to be a brow pomade in crayon form. There are obviously drawbacks to this design- while it's a cool concept, frankly, the thing is huge. Maybelline definitely should have gone with something a lot less thick. I got the shade Dark Brown, I believe. As you can see, while the product is sharp now, it doesn't take much to run it down and I fear for the day this becomes too nubby to use (I've been using it on an angle so far). The formula, however, is pretty gorgeous. It's soft and emollient, but amazingly pigmented. It gives a soft effect rather than a harsh line. Here are my brows with no product in them. May Favourites 2016!

May went by so slowly for me, but it was a month of excitement for sure! Eurovision happened and I got a job! Let's see what I loved through this month. A lot of oldies in here! First I've got some Makeup Geek shadows to talk about, and for once, I'm not waxing poetic about their Foiled eyeshadows. Makeup Geek's matte shadows in Chickadee (left) and Cocoa Bear (right) are deserving of all the hype they get. They pair together perfectly to create a warm crease. I'd never actually owned a warm medium brown eyeshadow before this, and let me just say- where have I been?! I've been wearing them all month and the only complaint I have is that now I'm in a bit of an eyeshadow rut because I don't want to wear anything else! Here's them both in my crease with Makeup Geek Foiled eyeshadow in Center Stage on the lid. Products I've Hit Pan On!

Whenever I look back on my instagram to see which posts were the most popular, it's always the posts featuring products I've #hitpan on. The panning community in general is awesome, so I figured I'd do a post showing all the products in my collection that currently have some pan going on! And I'm sure I'll have another post like this soon, because I have so many products, particularly eyeshadows, that are soooo close to hitting pan. Anyways- let's get into the good stuff! First up is this Too Faced Jingle All the Way "phone palette" that I've had for ages. It was my first foray into high-end eyeshadow- picked up for a measly 15 bucks when I went on vacation to Washington, D.C. I believe it was part of a holiday collection, and I grabbed it out of the sale bin the following spring.
